Attendees Operators of the coordinate measuring machine and/or ZEISS CALYPSO who want to learn and apply freeform measurement. Prerequisites Several years of experience in metrology and working with ZEISS CALYPSO. Participants have completed ZEISS CALYPSO Basic Training. PC knowledge must be available. Learning Target In this training the application of ZEISS CALYPSO freeform is explained and practiced. The most important functions of the software package as well as programming, measuring and evaluation of freeform surfaces will be covered. Content • CAD functions: creating features, splines and surfaces, • Alignments: Iterative, 3D Best Fit, RPS, Freeform Best Fit, • Profile: detailed explanation of profile zone types and applications with different datum structure examples and evaluation options, • Practical exercises.
