Attendees Operators of the coordinate measuring machine and ZEISS GEAR PRO worm who want to measure worm gears. Prerequisites Experience in metrology and working with ZEISS CALYPSO. Participants have completed ZEISS CALYPSO Basic Training. PC knowledge must be available. Maximum class size is 3 trainees. Learning Target Learn how to measure and evaluate worm gears with ZI, ZA, ZN and ZK profiles. Content • Common gear characteristics like profile, lead, pitch, axial pitch, runout, tooth thickness, over pins dimensions, spanwidth, and tip and root diameters. • Corrections to profile, lead crowning, tip relief, root relief and end relief will be evaluated. • Exercises. • Further learning targets and content of the training according to individual agreement.
